Biographical Profile
Jeffrey Brooks began his career in design early. As a student his paintings and mixed media projects were exhibited and sold in art galleries including the Paul Betovese Gallery in New York City and the Vincent Schutz Gallery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
His original works in silver appear in the Jeweler's textbook "Jewelry Making Today" by Houghton Miflin which remains in use in campus classrooms across the United States.
At 18 years of age he earned first prize in a statewide competition for furniture design, which sparked his interest in form and design. Jeffrey then studied Applied Arts and Graphic Design at The New School University in New York City. During that period the work of the "Environmentalist" artists of the mid-1980s captured his imagination and moved him to explore the field of interior architecture and design.
Mr. Brooks' interiors have been featured in Simon.
